The sculptural body is made entirely of gold leaf on a very deep matte black base. Four layers of gold leaf were necessary to achieve the desired effect. The American box is also gilded with gold leaf.
I wanted to highlight a woman's body, and the use of gold leaf in this creation is very important in order to achieve an effect of perspective and depth, the body of a naked woman with all its sensuality.
